Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills

Those who consider Buffalo the armpit of New York, often joke it's the Miami of the North. Kind of like Moose Jaw or Whalley being tagged the Nirvana of Canada by those claiming they don't drink or do drugs. Well, Miami (4-5) is in Buffalo (3-6) Thursday night as the Dolphins, coming off an embarrassing 37-3 spanking at home against the Tennessee Titans, face the Bills, who lost 37-31 in New England against the Brady Bunch.
While both teams will likely be watching the playoffs this winter, the Bills will likely lose their seventh game of the season Thursday as star running back Fred Jackson is out with a concussion suffered in the loss to the Pats. He joins a long list of stars who were sidelined in Week 10 (Jay Cutler, Ben Roethlisberger, Alex Smith, Michael Vick).
It's scary when those serious injuries play second fiddle to the other NFL headlines this week -- most of them generated in a police station or courtroom, as violence and unprofessional behaviour off the field continues to be a problem between games for some of these millionaire jocks. Is this roid rage or just stupidity? Which brings me to the Dolphins and Bills, who rarely beat anybody ...
This game is a tough call because both clubs have shown signs of brilliance, but can also suck more than Hoover's finest vacuum. What do the Dolphins, Bills and Billy Graham have in common? They can all make thousands of people stand up every Sunday and yell J.C.!

I like the Bills in this one. They play tough at home, it will be cold and outside of pride there's not much to play for.
